I once believed my worth was in being the “good wife,” the one who gave everything and asked for nothing. I abandoned my intuition, silenced my fire, and lived a decade in shadows... until my daughter’s eyes demanded I remember who I truly was.
Leaving that life was my first act of sovereignty.
I walked away with no map, no plan, and every reason to fear and I rebuilt myself from the ashes. That journey taught me the power of presence, the necessity of boundaries, and the truth that a woman’s essence is not meant to be dimmed.
